The American Muslim Gastroenterologist Network (AMGIN) is a professional network of muslim gastroenterologists dedicated to practicing medicine with Ihsaan (excellence). Our mission is to support and empower Muslim gastroenterologists through collaboration, education, and mentorship, while fostering a network that upholds Islamic values. The goal of the network is to enable physicians to elevate each other in all practice settings, mentor medical students and residents through a well developed pipeline and gain strength through partnership. Our network is dedicated to improving the health of our communities by advocating for culturally competent care and fostering a greater understanding of the challenges faced by both Muslim professionals and patients. Together, we aim to build a future where gastroenterology is equitable, holistic, and reflective of our shared values.
